GK: Many people were saddened this week by the news that Ken and Barbie are no longer a couple. After 43 years of dating, Barbie is going to have the Dream House to herself and Ken is going to spend more time at the beach. We have Barbie on the show today. Barbie, how's it going? Are you doing ok?
SS (BARBIE): Oh, thanks it just means so much for me to be here with all of you and to feel your support. I just felt we needed time apart. Forty three years is a long time to try to make up your mind about someone----
GK: Well, it's hard to believe so many years have gone by-you still have the same unbelievable bodily proportions.
SS (BARBIE): Thanks, but I don't like to focus on that. I want people to see me for who I really am. A ballerina. A lawyer. And a rock Star. And a horse trainer. Among other things.
GK: Well, you still look good in 5-inch heels-
SS (BARBIE): Even in moments of heartbreak, a girl still has to stand tall and stick her chest out.
GK: Now that you're dating again, what are you looking for in a man?
SS (BARBIE): Well, I'd like one who's anatomically correct.
GK: You're still good friends with Ken, though?
SS (BARBIE): I am, but I need to be me, Barbie. For forty-three years, I thought that if I just changed my clothes, he'd change too.
GK: Good luck to you.
SS (BARBIE): I mean, what am I going to do with six hundred pink miniskirts?
GK: I'm sure someone will want them.
SS (BARBIE): Thanks. Well, I gotta run. Midge and I are gonna take the Corvette to Rio tomorrow, and I still haven't packed.
GK: Thanks, Barbie.
