A repeat of A Prairie Home Companion's January 18, 1997, broadcast from the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul with singer Kate MacKenzie and with Greg Brown, who brought along laptop style slide-guitarist Kelly Joe Phelps. This show marks one of the first appearances of our former stagehand Chico, who dedicates a song to his old boss, "Mr. Kyler." In snowy Lake Wobegon, hometown son Frank Bergy gave $5,000 to the Lake Wobegon library. So they're throwing a banquet in his honor ... and they've asked him to give a few remarks.
